Event Space for Confirmations

Our event venue, Røylen, is perfectly located by the Oslo fjord at Bygdøy, right in the heart of Bygdøynes. The Norwegian Maritime Museum is adjacent to the Fram Museum and the Kon-Tiki Museum.

Røylen provides the ideal setting to gather family and friends for a delightful confirmation celebration, with a maximum capacity of 80 seated guests, but it is especially well-suited for 30-60 guests. The beautiful view from the private terrace adds a stunning touch to the celebration of a young person stepping into adulthood.

Guests can choose from the wonderful menus provided by our partner, FoodOccasion. For inspiration, you can visit FoodOccasion's website. They can also customize menus according to your wishes. It is not possible to rent Røylen without catering from FoodOccasion. Personnel from FoodOccasion must be present throughout the entire event.

The rental price for using Røylen for a confirmation celebration is NOK 13,900.

Cultural Activities to Enhance the Celebration

Starting the celebration with a guided tour of the museum is a perfect idea for guests. We offer a tailored tour focusing on "The First Journey"—a theme reflecting a youth stepping into adulthood. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes, and we recommend that groups do not exceed 30 people. The price is NOK 2,500 per group and applies to tours on Saturdays and Sundays during the museums opening hours.
