Christening or Naming Celebration at Bygdøynes

The Norwegian Maritime Museum offers excellent options for christening celebrations and naming celebrations. Our beautiful event space, Røylen, is well-suited for celebrations all year-round.

Catering

All catering at our venue is provided by our partner, FoodOccasion. For inspiration, you can visit FoodOccasion's website. They can also customize menus according to your wishes. FoodOccasion can be contacted on post@foodoccasion.no for inquiries about menus and prices for food and drinks.

It is not possible to rent Røylen without catering from FoodOccasion. Personnel from FoodOccasion must be present throughout the entire event.

Røylen provides the perfect setting to gather family and friends for a lovely celebration, and the unique view of the Oslo fjord can be enjoyed from the venue's attached terrace.

Rental

The rental price for using Røylen for a christening celebration is NOK 13,900.

Cultural Activities

If desired, we can offer guided tours of the museum lasting approximately 45 minutes. Tours are available for NOK 2,500 per group on weekends. These prices apply during the museum's opening hours, and we recommend that each group do not exceed 30 people.
