As a personal member in the Association Norwegian Maritime Museum’s Friends, you will receive free admission to the museum as well as many other advantages.
- Free admission to the Norwegian Maritime Museum.
- A 10 % discount on purchases in the museum shop and in our cafè.
- Invitations to meetings, lectures, classes, movie nights, and excursions.
- Free admission for one person to Bergen Maritime Museum and Stavanger Maritime Museum.
- Four issues a year of the membership pamphlet “Utkikken.”
Want to do more?
The Association Norwegian Maritime Museum’s Friends, also called “Friends of the Museum,” supports the museum agenda through actively engaging in and teaching a variety of subjects related to Norwegian maritime history and culture.
The members support the museum, mainly through a yearly membership fee and volunteer work. In this way, Friends of the Museum contribute greatly to the museum's daily operation as well as on special projects.
As a member of the Friends of the Museum, you will receive invitations to the association’s events, excursions, and guided tours of the museum.
Private individuals, organizations, and businesses can become Friends of the Museum.
